CSI Tech Talk Webinar – Tools for Remote Server and Workstation Management -Recording Available

The reality is that your network is under attack.  We need to protect our servers.  We need to protect our data.  One way we do that is by not remoting into servers to do basic tasks.   Almost everything we need to do, we can now do remotely.   Also, we can do many tasks with a more limited ID than a true domain admin account.  This is done through a process called delegation.  We also need to limit the use of a true domain admin account on our remote workstations. If you haven't done so already, you need to make the summer of 2019 the summer you re-design the way you work to minimize physically needing to login to your server desktops to do management.  We also need to think differently about what IDs we use to address legitimate workstation issues in our districts. We'll walk through some of tools and strategies to allow you to continue to manage your network in an efficient manner while minimizing the exposure caused by simply using a domain admin ID everywhere for everything.
