VP & CTO
Scott Quimby has been working with technology professionally since 1978, starting with the original Apple II, and was also one of the first 16 IBM PC partners in the US. Scott started with Computer Systems Integrators, Inc. in 1991, and was named our President just seven years later. Scott moved to a more technically focused role as VP & CTO in 2014. He specializes in managed services, IT best practices, pre-sales engineering & design, virtualization, security, and Microsoft technologies of all kinds. Scott received a B.S. in Business Administration from Marist College in 1985. Scott is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Microsoft Certified Professional, and Novell Master Certified Network Engineer. Scott brings our company 45+ years of IT industry experience - and because he was there at the beginning of the modern computing movement, he brings a unique perspective to the industry. Scott also writes extensively on his blog "Tech Tidbits" which also contains a very timely news feed section of articles on security issues and industry issues that he finds each day in his extensive reading. He also presents webinars and teaches both technical and non-technical classes both online and in person with his own content. In his time away from the office, Scott enjoys working on technology projects for non-profits both locally and overseas, as well as boating, history, flying, diving, politics, and traveling the world to experience other cultures. He has rescued five English Springer Spaniels over the years. In the last few years, he has joined his family in raising backyard chickens.
