Scott Quimby
Founder and Senior Technical Advisor
Scott Quimby has been working with technology professionally since 1978, starting with the original Apple II, and was also one of the first 16 IBM PC partners in the US. Scott started with Computer Systems Integrators, Inc. in 1991 and was quickly named our President. Scott moved to a more technically focused role as VP & CTO in 2014. Scott has now transitioned to the role of Senior Technical Advisor. He specializes in managed services, IT best practices, pre-sales engineering & design, virtualization, security, and Microsoft technologies. Scott received a B.S. in Business Administration from Marist College in 1985. Scott is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Novell Master Certified Network Engineer. Scott brings our company 46+ years of IT industry experience - because he was there at the beginning of the modern computing movement, he brings a unique perspective. Scott also writes extensively on his blog "Tech Tidbits," which also contains a timely news feed section of articles on security issues and industry issues that he finds daily in his extensive reading. He also presents webinars and teaches technical and non-technical classes, both online and in person, with his content. In his time away from the office, Scott enjoys working on technology projects for local and overseas non-profits, as well as boating, history, flying, diving, politics, and traveling the world to experience other cultures. He has rescued five English Springer Spaniels over the years. In the last few years, he has joined his family in raising backyard chickens.
