How to install VMware Tools on a Windows Server 2008 Core virtual machine

The gist is to mount the VMware Tools in VCENTER. Accept the warning that you can’t install this if the OS isn’t there. Go onto Windows Core and run the appropriate MSI install from D: and reboot when prompted. It works great.
